Hi, I’m Amanda Fowler.
I’m a Classic Car Concierge and the daughter of a collector. I’ve spent years walking into garages (just like your dad’s) helping families price, market and sell classic cars online.
To date I’ve helped families move over $2.9 million in classic vehicles. I know this world inside and out.
But here’s what most people don’t know about me.
I was the little girl who wrote the very first Glove Box Letter.
In 1985 my dad sold his 1932 Ford Roadster and I was devastated. Before the new owner drove away I grabbed a piece of notebook paper, wrote down the rules for taking care of it, signed it “By Mandy Fowler” and slipped it into the glove box.
The current owner still has that note tucked inside the driver’s side pocket. Forty years later.
That moment is why I do everything I do.
I created Glove Box Letters because I know from years of working with classic car families that the story behind the car is just as important as the technical details.
The history, the memories, the sacrifices, the pride all of it adds value to the vehicle & meaning to the family. And most of the time nobody captures any of it until it’s too late.
This guide is my way of making sure that doesn’t happen to your family.
